School of Foreign Language Education (SOFLE) of Jilin University (JLU) is accepting applications of oversea master’s or doctorate degree holders in Linguistics or Literature for faculty positions.

Positions Available:
 ● 4 Tenured or tenure-track positions for the applicants (PhD degree required) who are Chinese citizens; and
 ● 6-7 Contract teacher positions (MA degree required) or tenure-track positions (PhD degree required) for those who are not Chinese citizens.

Job Description:
Candidates should show a commitment to
 ● Teaching English to undergraduate and graduate students of Jilin University;
 ● Offering graduate level courses in an MA applied linguistics program; and
 ● Conducting research, particularly in applied linguistics, second language acquisition or English education and other related areas.

Qualifications:
 ● Master’s or doctorate degree is required in Applied Linguistics, Educational Linguistics, TESOL, ESL, Translation, Cross-cultural Communication, American/British Literature or equivalent from an accredited program;
 ● Evidence of publications in relevant journals is required; and
 Evidence of excellent teaching experience is preferred.
